General InformationThe program has been developed by the Ministry of Culture, Monument Protection and Sports of Georgia. It is financially supported within the funds earmarked under the Law of Georgia On State Budget. The program serves to the interests of the national policy for literature, books and libraries, development of literary process in the country, stimulation of Georgian writing, promotion of books and literature, support of libraries. Program Aims and GoalsGeorgian arts and culture has made a significant contribution to the history of world culture. One of the clear examples of it is the long track record of the Georgian book and translation school. Aim of the Program in support of the Georgian Literature in foreign translation is to facilitate the Georgian Literature and Book promotion both domestically and overseas.
